Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives the public right of access to information the Trust produces in the course of its work. 

However, there are exemptions to this right; these include data about living, identifiable individuals – or personal data – which is covered by the Data Protection Act and is not generally publicly available except to the person whom the data is about.

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, South Bank Academies has developed a publication scheme that lists all the documents the Trust makes public as a matter of routine.
